Important Message in a speech bubble

The Governor has announced that all Arkansas schools can open tomorrow but there will be a mandatory school closure starting Tuesday, March 17 until after Spring Break.

El Dorado School District will be in session tomorrow for those students whose parents have not had an opportunity to make childcare arrangements. We will dismiss at 1:30 tomorrow. It is not mandatory for children to be at school tomorrow. Schools will be open tomorrow as a service to our community and to give you time to make arrangements for your child. Students will not be marked absent.

Students are instructed to complete Days 1-4 of the AMI Packets issued by each school. This will make up for Tuesday, March 17 - Friday, March 20. For more information on AMI Days, visit our website at www.eldoradopublicschools.org. We know this is a difficult time but we are going to do all we can to make this a smooth transition.

Please remember to take the following precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19:

-Practice social distancing while we are out of school.

-Wash hands frequently.

-Do not touch your face.

-Avoid large crowds.

-And again, wash your hands.

If you have any questions, please call the district office at 870-864-5006.  It will be open each day this week Monday-Friday, 8:00-3:00.
