It is with great sadness that we share with you that Foster Poindexter lost his battle with cancer today. “Poindexter,” as he was known to everyone, was the grounds keeper for the El Dorado School District Athletic Fields for sixteen years. His love for the Wildcats showed as he took great pride in keeping the fields and facilities in immaculate condition. He followed the Wildcats everywhere they went, whether it be on the sidelines or in the bleachers, you could always find him supporting our teams.
On September 30, 2016, Foster was recognized with the “Lifetime Letterman Award” which he cherished until his final day as a Wildcat.
The El Dorado Wildcats will truly miss him.
