YEARBOOK: Want to save money AND get your yearbook? Order before Sept. 28 to get the book at its lowest price, $45. Add your name, and you get up to 4 icons free....Then you don't have to take a screenshot to keep the memories! See Mrs. Cross or a yearbook staffer for an order form.
Juniors: The PSAT will be administered Wednesday, October 10th at EHS. The PSAT serves as a practice test for the SAT as well as the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship. This test is voluntary only. The cost is $16. Juniors that are interested need to sign up in the guidance office.
PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB: Do you love taking pictures? Can you find the best angles and composition in a photo? Are you interested in furthering your skills? Join the Photography Club, a division of the EHS SkillsUSA. The cost to join is only $20 AND you'll get membership in the national, state, and local SkillsUSA Club levels. Meetings will take place twice a month after school and are optional. The dues to join is $20. See Mrs. Steele to sign up!
AR DEADLINES: Are you reading? Have you taken your A.R. Test? Deadlines are Wednesday, September 26th for 9th and 11th grades, and Thursday, September 27th for 10th and 12th grades.
PROMISE APPLICATIONS: El Dorado Promise applications are due October 1. Applications may be picked up and returned to the Guidance Office
FLU CLINIC: The Flu Clinic will be held on October 3 at EHS. Flu vaccination forms have been passed out to all students. Please return all completed forms to Nurse Janet. Teachers are also eligible to receive the flu vaccination. If anyone needs a flu form please see Nurse Janet.
ACT: Friday is the deadline to register for the October 14 ACT Test. Stop by the Guidance Office and visit with our college and career coach for more information. MY COLLEGE OPTIONS STUDENT SURVEYS are available in the Guidance Office also.
ASVAB: Students interested in taking the ASVAB need to stop by the Guidance Office and Sign Up.
STUDENT COUNCIL: We will have a meeting Wed. 9/26 in the Art Project Room at 7:30 AM
FCCLA: FCCLA will meet this Friday September 28th at 7:30 in room 1526. We will discuss upcoming events then officer nominations and voting will take place!
ASLI: Meetings this week Tuesday in Ms. Antoon's room and Thursday in Ms. Gamble's room! We will be prepping for our Operation Christmas fundraiser! If you need service hours and want to help make our community better sign up for the Clean Up October 6th!
