Only one week we left to donate to Operation Christmas Child! Change a child's life and earn a pizza party for your class on Halloween! Small stuffed animals, school supplies, toothbrushes, and small toys are all great items to contribute!


College and Career Readiness Champions Scholarship information is available for seniors that have scored at least a 22 on a single ACT test.  Applications are due by October 31.


There will be a photography club meeting THIS Thursday, October 11th, after school til 4:15pm in 1524. Open to all who are interested! Come see what photography club will be about! Bring your camera or borrow one from Mrs. Steele. Teachers are invited to come, too!


IMPORTANT Teenage Republicans meeting for OFFICER ELECTIONS Friday, Oct.12 at 7:30am in 2412! New members are welcome to attend even if you have not been to a meeting yet! 


Beta Induction will be this Thursday evening at 6pm in the auditorium. All members should be in attendance. Please dress appropriately. 


Deadline for State Fair Forms are due this week. Deadline to join both clubs is this Friday--dues are $15


Hey Young Dems (and those interested in joining): We will meet in the morning on Tuesday, October 16th at 7:30 in Mrs. Campbell's room 2427. We will be discussing trips, volunteer opportunities, and fixing our club board. See you then! 


Union County College Fair at the El Dorado Conference Center Monday, October 15th from 5:30 - 8:00. Representatives from all local colleges will be present to answer questions. Juniors and Seniors are strongly encouraged to attend.  FAFSA assistance will be provided.  


The VFW Voice of Democracy and Why My Vote Matters information is available in the Guidance Office.


Key Club will meet Monday morning at 7:30 in Mr. B's room. Be there or be square.


The El Dorado Cross Country team competed at the bald knob invitational this past Tuesday and the varsity boys got runner up in the upper classification competition. The boys were lead by Jadon Cunningham who placed top 10 out of 140 runners. Brooks Coan, JD Halstead, Hudson McDiarmid, and Hayden McDiarmid were other top finishers. Melanie Miller was the top finisher for the varsity girls team. Addy Taylor and Alexa Dewey lead the way for the junior girls. Edwin Gonzalez and Calvin Huang were the top freshmen on the junior boys team.


If you did not pick up your portrait and photograph from Mrs. Howard’s Visual Art class last year, please stop by Mrs. Harwell’s room (Rm 1648) and pick them up.  These portraits and photographs were displayed at the South Arkansas Arts Center last year.   
 St. James Baptist Church bus is going to Benton on Friday.  The bus will leave the church at 3:45pm all seats are $15.00
