According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, ""Prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medicines are tested to make sure they’re safe and effective. But if you mix those drugs with other medicines or substances—intentionally or even by accident—they can have potentially dangerous effects. A drug’s “active ingredient” is the part of the drug that acts on your body. Combining substances can change the way an active ingredient works. This can increase the effect of that ingredient on your body, make it less effective, or have other unexpected results. To be safe, use medicines ONLY AS DIRECTED. Thank you to everyone who dressed in RED yesterday or today in support of RED RIBBON WEEK.The class with the highest percentage of students wearing red will win breakfast to be delivered next week. Teachers, simply take a photo of your first period class and send to 870.918.6824 with your name in message, room number and fraction of students wearing red, example, 14/17. We will select winners from the photos. Today's winning numbers are: 22,121, 263, 395, 417, 545, 681, 728, 820, 963, 1049, 1111, 1295, and 1321.
