While competing at SAU for the Regional History Day competition Barton students brought home many awards. Kalla Fudge placed 1st in the documentary category. Diego Velaro and Cameron Orr also placed first for their group website. In the individual exhibit category Kaliyah Ridgell received 3rd place, Brooks Burson placed 2nd, and Aaron Norton placed 1st. In group exhibit 3 place went to Aiden Johnson, Gray Harrell, and Landon Waldrup. Second place went to Jonah Davis and Payton Howard, and 1st was awarded to Mackenzie Kennebeck and Jamison Dumas. The final category was a historical paper where 3rd belonged to Mary Claire Parker, 2nd to Mary Licciardi, and Jill Stone took first. All students have qualified for the state competition in Conway!
