5th grade STEM Competition students begin their study into aerospace engineering. Before we build rockets, it is so great to have lessons about angle of elevation, parabolas, etc. from our counselor, Mrs. Amber Miller. Mrs. Miller's background as a trigonometry teacher has helped us greatly. In these pictures, students are using their altimeters to measure the height of trees!
