TEENAGE REPUBLICANS: Do you want to get involved in your community and learn more about politics? How about getting special opportunities to talk to your representatives and local leaders? Stop by room 2412 Wednesday, Sept.5th at 7:30am for the first meeting this year of Teenage Republicans. Be there or be blue!

PICTURE DAY: Picture Day is today and Wednesday. Students will be called during their English classes. 

SAVE THE ANIMALS: You came to our interest meeting, now come get started! Come hear about the 3 opportunities we have to group volunteer on Saturday the 15th! Sign up, get details, and let's put some ideas into action! Meet in room 2429 this Friday morning!

NEWSPAPER: Your student newspaper, the Hi-Gusher is BACK ON CAMPUS! Copies will be sold during all three lunch shifts for 50 cents each. Inside, find games, contests and chances to see your name and face in print --- FOR ONLY 50 cents. Come find us!

ASLI: ASLI has the opportunity to participate in a community clean up through Keep El Dorado Beautiful on Saturday September 15th and earn a grant for future events. This will be in place of the clean up scheduled for Thursday the 13th. There will be a cook out afterwards. Go by and see Ms. Antoon to sign up!

NHS: Any NHS member interested in ordering a shirt, come by my office and sign up on the form and pay $7 for your t-shirt.  I will put in the order on Friday, September 14th.

BETA: Dues for new members are due this week. Please see Mrs. Steele to take care of your dues. 

STUDENT COUNCIL: We will have a meeting on Wed. Sept 5th @ 7:30 in the Art Project Room 

CROSS COUNTRY: The wildcat cross country team had an excellent first meet at Trinity Christian on Saturday. The Varsity boys team finished fourth out of seven teams. JD Halstead lead the way with a top 10 finish out of 90 boys. Hudson McDiarmid, Jadon Cunningham, Brooks Coan, and Jaland Upshaw rounded out the top 5 for the varsity boys. Hudson, Jadon, and Brooks all landed in the top 20. Addy Taylor lead the way for the junior girls team that placed 3rd out of 9 teams represented. She placed 12th in a field of about 90 girls. Alexa Dewey also had a top 20 finish. Melanie Miller was the top varsity girl placing 23rd out of 66 girls. The wildcats will race at the Razorback Invitational this coming Saturday.

FCA: FCA will meet this Thursday (Sept 6th) during all three lunch shifts.  Location is unknown at this time. Contact Officer Ardwin for details.
