DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2018

GLOBAL CLASSROOM: Tomorrow is the big reveal!  See you in the morning! 

BETA: Beta club induction that was scheduled for this Thursday has been MOVED to October 11th. There will be a required meeting on Friday morning at 7:15am in room 1524. All dues must be paid by this Friday in order to be active for this school year. 

SENATE YOUTH PROGRAM: Applications for the 2018-19 United States Senate Youth Program are available in the Guidance Office for Juniors and Seniors that are interested in applying.  

SWIM TEAM: Students who are still interested in swimming need to let Coach Craig know by Friday Sept. 21! 

JUNIORS: Juniors:  The PSAT will be administered Wednesday, October 10th at EHS.  The PSAT serves as a practice test for the SAT as well as the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship.  This test is voluntary only.  The cost is $16.  Juniors that are interested need to sign up in the guidance office.

SOPHOMORES: Homecoming t-shirts will be sold in the cafeteria during all three lunch shifts.  Cost is $15 per shirt.  If you want to ride the Homecoming float, you must purchase a shirt!

JUNIORS: Buy your Homecoming shirt $20! The deadline is this Friday the 21st!  

PARADE: Homecoming Parade Registration Forms are available in the Guidance Office.  Stop By and Sign up

EXTREME: eXtreme students who are signed up to work for the fair need to come by the office to check their scheduled time. You will also need to pick up your tickes for the day which you are scheduled to work. 

CHESS TEAM: Chess team will meet this afternoon after school in Meyer's room. There will also be an AM meeting Ednesday morning. Hope to see you there.

ASLI: Thanks to everyone who made the community clean up on Saturday a huge success. ASLI will meet after school Thursday in Ms. Antoon's room to prepare for our next big service project! Come join us! Also, Ms. Antoon will be selling previous year's service day shirts for $5.

CROSS COUNTRY: The running cats had a good weekend at the Moro Bay Invitational.The varsity boys won the team award for the second year in a row. They finished first out of 10 teams. Hudson McDiarmid, Jadon Cunningham, Brooks Coan, JD Halstead, and Jaland Upshaw all placed in the top 10 out of 100 runners. Alexa Dewey and Addy Taylor lead a strong showing for the Junior Girls who placed 3rd out of ten teams.

PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB: Do you love taking pictures? Can you find the best angles and composition in a photo? Are you interested in furthering your skills? Join the Photography Club, a division of the EHS SkillsUSA. The cost to join is only $20 AND you'll get membership in the national, state, and local SkillsUSA Club levels. Meetings will take place twice a month after school and are optional. The dues to join is $20. See Mrs. Steele to sign up!

AR DEADLINES: Are you reading? Have you taken your A.R. Test? Deadlines are Wednesday, September 26th for 9th and 11th grades, and Thursday, September 27th for 10th and 12th grades.

FRESHMEN: Bring Homecoming tshirt money and order forms to Mrs. Miller in the Guidance Office today.  If you want to ride the Homecoming float you MUST purchase a shirt.  Deadline is THIS FRIDAY the 21st.
