Tiffany Hurley announced as the new Director of the El Dorado Promise

The El Dorado School District is excited to announce that Tiffany Hurley, of El Dorado, has accepted the position of Director of the El Dorado Promise.

Hurley’s extensive background includes both a degree in accounting and experience working in the school district which gives her a unique perspective of what this job encompasses.

Hurley is a 1994 graduate of El Dorado High School. She went on to pursue a degree
in accounting at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. After graduating from UALR in 2001, Hurley went on to work in the field of public accounting with an emphasis on individual taxation and litigation support for the next ten years.

In 2010, Hurley’s life was changed forever when her son, Talon, was born. She
decided to stay home with him during those formative years. In 2015, Hurley
returned to El Dorado to enroll Talon in school, so that he could
receive the benefit of the life-changing gift of what the El Dorado Promise offers.

Northwest Elementary received two gems for the price of one when Talon started
Kindergarten, and Hurley became a volunteer. It wasn’t long before her skills and
abilities were recognized, and she was hired as a paraprofessional. Hurley spent the
next few years assisting teachers and helping students. In 2022, she transitioned to school secretary.

Hurley has a heart for all of the students in the district, and she desires
to help them all understand what the promise is, how it can help them, and how
they can utilize the benefits to change their world.
