Congratulations to the El Dorado School District Honorees for the month of December from Washington Middle!

Student of the Month - Faith Lowery

A round of applause is in order for Faith Lowery, recognized as WMS's outstanding Student of the Month. Faith has demonstrated exceptional commitment to her studies, exhibited strong leadership qualities, and consistently contributed to the positive atmosphere at Washington Middle School. Her achievements extend beyond the classroom, reflecting a well-rounded and commendable approach to both academic and extracurricular activities.



Teacher of the Month- Mydeana Bridges

Mydeana Bridges is a 6th grade Science and Competition SHAKE Instructor at WMS. Mrs. Bridges stands out for her unwavering dedication to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for her students. Her passion for education, innovative teaching methods, and commitment to her students have not gone unnoticed. Colleagues and students alike appreciate Mrs. Bridges for her ability to inspire and make a lasting impact on the educational journey of those around her.


Classified Employee of the Month  - Tayna Vines 


Ms. Vines is the Cafeteria Manager at WMS. Vines plays a crucial role in overseeing the operations of the cafeteria, ensuring that the cafeteria runs smooth, and promoting a positive dining experience for students and staff. Ms. Vines exemplifies dedication and excellence in her role. Her hard work and positive attitude have undoubtedly left an indelible mark on the school community.
