Cpl. Heard's journey toward becoming an exemplary School Resource Officer (SRO) is as remarkable as her achievements. With fifteen years of service to the El Dorado Police Department, Cpl. Heard's career has been defined by a steadfast dedication to her community. Born and raised in Huttig, AR, her roots run deep in the region, providing her with a unique understanding of the local landscape and its people.

After graduating from Huttig High School in 1999, Cpl. Heard pursued her passion for justice by attending Southern Arkansas University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice in 2004. Following her academic pursuits, she gained invaluable experience working at JP Morgan Chase Mortgage Co. before embarking on her career in law enforcement with the El Dorado Police Department in 2008.

Since joining the force, Cpl. Heard has continuously demonstrated her unwavering commitment to public safety and community engagement. As the School Resource Officer for the El Dorado School District, she plays a vital role in fostering a safe and supportive environment for students, faculty, and staff alike.
