Pink Out

The El Dorado Wildcats and Lady Cats basketball programs are planning to host a “Pink Out Game” Friday December 3 against Benton to bring awareness to breast cancer.

Breast cancer awareness month is nationally recognized in October but due to the basketball season not starting until late November, as well as conflicts with other sports, we will not be able to hold this game until December. Nevertheless we plan to recognize our community members who are currently battling or who have battled breast cancer and celebrate these individuals.

We are planning a presentation to show recognition of those who are fighting, have won the fight, or unfortunately have won their fight, but are no longer with us. The presentation will happen between the varsity games that evening.

We are asking members of the El Dorado School District to send names of those who might be interested as well as nominations, whether it be self or other individuals, to be recognized by filling out the attached survey. Everyone who is nominated will be able to meet both teams and be presented with a specially designed “Wildcat Family” t-shirt that also will embody the national breast cancer symbol on the front pocket, the pink ribbon. Thank you for your help and participation to help us make this a memorable event.

Complete the form to nominate someone.

The nomination period will be open until Friday October 29th.
