Washington Middle School was extremely proud at last night's school board meeting. Avery Johnson, WMS 6th grader, was awarded El Dorado School District Student of the Month.
Avery's teacher, Ms. Compton had this to say about Avery's attitude and work ethic, "Avery is such a hard worker and she comes in every day focused and on task. She is unfailingly polite and respectful and is always willing to lend a helping hand. She embodies all the qualities of a student of the month, and is a tremendous asset to my classroom and to our school."
