Viking Ship Diorama

During our STEAM day a few weeks ago one 6th grade student from each homeroom came to the library.  Their project was to create a diorama that depicted viking culture, but they had to make one piece of their diorama move using a servo or motor with the Hummingbird Arduino boards.  Students worked so hard all day and created really amazing dioramas!  Some had moving arrows, ships, waves, the sun, and even fire!  Students had learned so much during our two week study and were so excited to share that in their dioramas.  Students wrote short essays describing the scene, and coded the Arduino boards to make their dioramas come to life!  We are so proud of their hard work!  To see our dioramas, watch our YouTube video below!
