The 2024–2025 school year marked an exciting debut of the Barton Junior High Esports Team, and what an incredible first season it was! Competing with focus, teamwork, and determination, the team quickly made a name for itself, finishing the year as Central Region Champions and earning the impressive title of #1-ranked team in the nation.
In recognition of their outstanding achievement, team members were honored at the October El Dorado School Board meeting, where they were celebrated for their hard work, dedication, and success.
This remarkable accomplishment showcases the talent and commitment of our students and highlights the growing opportunities in competitive esports within the El Dorado School District. We are incredibly proud of these young athletes for their dedication and excellence in representing our schools!
