Yocum Primary

At both our Primary and Elementary buildings, students can earn BEARS bucks throughout the week. Students can earn these bucks from any staff member who sees them following the BEARS Way. BEARS is our behavior matrix that each student has learned this year, which stands for: Be responsible, Empathy, Achieve, Respect all, and Show citizenship. We are always looking for students following our BEARS expectations in the hallways, cafeteria, playground and in the classrooms! Each week, students are given the opportunity to visit the BEARS Bucks Store where they can choose to spend their bucks or save up for an even bigger reward! This is a great way for our students to learn responsibility by having to keep up with their BEARS bucks, as well as learning to save and budget for what they really want. Be sure to ask your students about their recent purchases or what they have their eye on in the store!
