🐝 The Regional Spelling Bee has been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 4 at 9AM at the South Arkansas Arts Center. 🐝

How are you spending your extra days out of school?

We are so proud of all the students who participated in classroom spelling bees the last two weeks! Congratulations to those who are advancing to the Barton schoolwide spelling bee on Friday, January 23!

SAVE THE DATE! The 2026 Union County Math Competition will take place on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the EHS Auditorium, with sign-in beginning at 9:30 AM and testing starting at 10:00 AM.

Mr. Nooner would like to congratulate the cast of the upcoming Barton production of Seussical Jr.!

Join the Barton Fine Arts Department for our annual Christmas concert on Tuesday, Dec. 9th in the BJHS gym at 6 PM! We will also be collecting non-perishables for a food drive. Hope to see you all there!

Ms. Gregory's 3D Art class combined installation art and mural art for their latest project. They studied the positive effects of murals and installations around the state, including those in El Dorado and Fort Smith, with a goal of also providing a positive impact on our school through their work.

Their projects are now on display for everyone to enjoy.

Don't forget our UCAPS fundraiser starts today! Please send dog or cat food with your student to school! The top 7th and 8th classes will get a spudnut party next Friday!

This week 7th Grade social studies students analyzed different primary sources and taught those sources to their peers. Students learned about the Boston Massacre and how bias can affect the memory of an event.
