This morning on social media some people posted that there was an incident at Barton Junior High School. This is absolutely false. Things are going well at Barton today, students are in class learning and teachers are teaching. Please do not post on social media about incidents happening at a school unless you confirm it with a school administrator. Making inaccurate posts is irresponsible and can cause unnecessary panic.
If there ever is an issue, we will make a post on the district website and district social media. If you have any questions, please call the district office or the school. Please DO NOT post inaccurate information. Thank you.
