Houses at Northwest: Building a Stronger School Community
On August 28, 2026, students at Northwest took part in an exciting tradition as they officially discovered which House they would call their own! The House System is designed to bring students and staff together while creating a positive school climate and culture where everyone feels connected, supported, and valued.
Each House represents important character traits and values that we hope to see in every Northwest Roadrunner:
Red House – Run with Heart
Our Red House students are determined, courageous, and persistent. They face challenges with a positive attitude and never give up!
Blue House – Lead the Way
Our Blue House students are leaders, responsible, and confident. They step up, make good choices, and encourage others to do their best.
White House – Reach New Heights
Our White House students embrace growth, excellence, and curiosity. They are always learning, asking questions, and striving to reach their goals.
Black House – Together We Thrive
Our Black House students demonstrate teamwork, kindness, and community. They know that when we work together and support one another, everyone can succeed.
The House System gives students opportunities to build friendships, develop leadership skills, celebrate accomplishments, and create lasting connections across grade levels. Most importantly, it reminds our Roadrunners that we are stronger when we work together!
Tomorrow is the first house meeting, so be sure to wear your house color!
