As a reward for winning the El Dorado Invitational People’s Choice Award for their showcase performance, Todd Henry- with Sonic of El Dorado, treated the WMS Cheerleaders to Sonic ice cream gift cards. Thank you, Mr. Henry! (4th period, and a few others out sick, not pictured)
Mrs. Ashcraft’s Studio 2 group studied the art of graffiti this week and created some really awesome work! Check out their “tags!"

Today in Mrs. Braswell’s Class, students had the task of making a working foosball table. They were required to have 12 players, 6 rods, and 2 goals. Once they did that, we played each other's games in a "game day.” What the students did not know prior to this assignment, was Mrs. Braswell was making a life size version for them to play as well. They saw it slowly coming together halfway through, but no one was allowed to play it until "game day!”
Thank you to Mrs. Mayra Mendoza for proving a concha for all the 6th grade Spanish class. Concha (meaning "shell" in Spanish) is a traditional Mexican sweet bread roll (pan dulce). Conchas get their name from their round shape and their striped, seashell-like appearance.
