El Dorado Schools is deeply saddened about the passing of Washington Middle School teacher Marissa Savage. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends, co-workers and students at this time. We send our sincere condolences to her family.
AMI paper packets can be picked up and dropped off in front of WMS. Busses will also deliver packets weekly where they deliver lunches.
AMI is also available online through Google Classroom. We strongly encourage you to submit assignments electronically.

Join us to see the El Dorado Schools String Orchestras Thursday, March 12th at 6:30pm in the EHS auditorium for a special MUSIC IN OUR SCHOOLS CONCERT! This is free to everyone! Come support music in our schools!

Mrs. McAdams and Ms. Odom had two classes visit the AstroZone exhibit at MAD this week. Here, students experienced art hands-on! A class also went to the Union County African American History Museum where they learned all about African American history.

Spring picture day is almost here!
Only students who pay for pictures will take them.

Yesterday STEAM classes used mini marshmallows to help in finding volume of rectangular prisms and cubes. The students were given either certain dimensions or a specific volume and had to construct their prism out of the marshmallows

A WMS team from Mr. Herren's cinematography class won 3rd place in the Digital Learning Day video contest from the ADE/DESE. Shashank Avvaru, Data Analyst from the ADE, coordinated the contest and came to present the award. Congratulations students!



Marcy Rozier is Mrs. McAdams and Ms. Odom's third person to completely black out her reading cube this nine weeks! Way to go Marcy!
