After careful thought and consideration based on the statewide mask mandate lift and the recommendations of the CDC and Arkansas Department of Health, the El Dorado School Board voted to make the following adjustments to our Ready for Learning Plan:
Masks are recommended, but not required for recess.
Masks are recommended, but not required for spectators at outdoor events.
Masks are not required for participants in sporting events indoors or outdoors.
Abide by the CDC recommended 3ft social distancing instead of 6ft when possible.
By following our Ready for Learning Plan, we are the only district in our area that has not been required to close this school year. What we are doing appears to be working, and we want to continue doing so in order to finish the school year on a strong note. Our ultimate goal is to keep our teachers and students in a safe environment where they can be the most successful.
