Youth Summer Activity Calendar Available
Summer hasn’t even started yet and do you already dread hearing “I’m bored, there’s nothing to do?” Well, SHARE Foundation has put together a calendar of summer activities that you can access to determine what is available. Just go to the following link and you can search each week to determine what best fits your child’s schedule.

There will be a DACA informational meeting at the TAC House on June 4th at 5pm. The meeting is open to the public.
Students who have medications in the school nurse's office must pick up their medications by Wednesday, June 2nd. If you have not already picked up your student's medicine, please do so by the end of the day next Wednesday. The person picking up the student's medication must be on the student's emergency contact form. Any medication not picked up will be destroyed per Arkansas law.
For the thirteenth year, El Dorado Schools, in partnership with the community, will offer the summer program Waiting to Excel. This enrichment opportunity provides students with the chance to focus on reading, writing, and math, as well as character development. Each week students will participate in high-interest, hands-on, educational activities as well as exciting field trips like college visits or museum tours.
This year’s program will run Monday – Thursday, beginning June 7th and ending June 24th. Each day begins at 8:00 A.M. and ends at 12:00 P.M. (unless the students have an out-of-town field trip.) Bus transportation will be provided. Breakfast and lunch are also available at no cost each day.
We are thrilled to offer this unique opportunity for our students and hope to hear from you soon. Although we would love to include every child, there is limited space available.
*NOTE: This year, the program will take place on the El Dorado High School campus.

Our Summer Meal Program, which provides meals to any child 18 and under in our area, will begin Monday, June 7th. Meals are available Mondays and Wednesdays. Pick up meals at Hugh Goodwin between 9am-11am.
This year, our district food truck will visit a different neighborhood each week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am-12pm. Check the ESD Facebook account for the location announcement. See the flyer for more information.

El Dorado School District would like to make Parents/Guardians, Former Students, and Eligible (Adult) Students aware that Special Education records of students who graduated, moved or were dismissed from special education in the 2013-2014 school year will be disposed of on June 3, 2021.

Graduation will be held at Memorial Stadium and begin promptly at 8pm.
The gates will open at 7pm. When the home side reaches capacity, guests will be directed to the visitors’ entrance with their tickets. Guests must use the sidewalk to reach the visitors’ side. The track will be closed to the public.
Everyone must have a ticket to enter.
El Dorado High School Graduation Ceremony will take place this evening at Memorial Stadium beginning at 8pm.
In the case of inclement weather, graduation will be held in the El Dorado High School Wildcat Arena at 8:30pm.
Graduation is a ticketed event. Each person attending graduation, regardless of age, must have a ticket. This includes a child that would sit on a lap. Each graduate received 5 tickets for the arena and 11 tickets for the stadium at graduation practice this morning. These tickets are separate and cannot be used interchangeably.
We are monitoring the weather closely and will decide at the appropriate time if moving locations is required. We are making every effort to host graduation as normally scheduled. If that is not possible, please remember the ceremony will be live-streamed.

The BJHS Extreme Youth Program is accepting entries for two contests. Students can submit an essay or unique artwork to show the importance of living tobacco and nicotine free. Entries will be accepted from April 1-April 15. Submissions can be turned in to the main office, to Mrs. Carey in Room 207, or emailed to adrianne.carey@esd-15.org.
Report Cards were sent home today. There is no school for students tomorrow. Kittens Conferences will be held in the Dome. See you there!
