Dorian Jimenez took the initiative to reach out to the head of the Arkansas National Guard regarding his interest in one day joining. With parental consent, Dorian Jimenez was visited today by two local National Guardsmen, Sgt First Class Easter & Staff Sgt. Love. He was able to ask some questions, and he was gifted with a shirt, hat, and new backpack. We appreciate and recognize this student's initiative and are thankful for support from the community.

The countdown is on! It's officially Spelling Bee month! Now that it is right around the corner, help us remind the students to study their words, often. If your child has misplaced their words, have them let their English teacher know. We don't want anyone to feel unprepared!

The Pokemon Club would like to thank Mrs. Ashley Johnson for donating Pokemon figurines. The students had a blast picking out some of their favorites to take home and enjoy!
Yesterday in Mrs. Langston’s 6th Grade Social Studies Class, the students had a guest speaker, Mike Means, from South Arkansas Art Center. He talked to the students about Egyptian mummies and had students make cartouches for their names out of hieroglyphics!
