Lots of creative campaigning going on around WMS this week in preparation for our house elections! Those will take place this Friday. Send your well wishes to all of our students running for leadership positions. Especially our presidential candidates that will present a speech to our student body at this Friday’s house assembly!
The countdown is on! It's officially Spelling Bee month! Now that it is right around the corner, help us remind the students to study their words, often. If your child has misplaced their words, have them let their English teacher know. We don't want anyone to feel unprepared!

The Pokemon Club would like to thank Mrs. Ashley Johnson for donating Pokemon figurines. The students had a blast picking out some of their favorites to take home and enjoy!
Yesterday in Mrs. Langston’s 6th Grade Social Studies Class, the students had a guest speaker, Mike Means, from South Arkansas Art Center. He talked to the students about Egyptian mummies and had students make cartouches for their names out of hieroglyphics!
This week, students that attend the Library for Academic Opportunity are decorating Christmas cards and filling treat bags for the residents of Hudson Nursing Home!
