WMS Shake students were able to practice their newly learned etiquette skills on the last day before Christmas break. Students traveled to Ms. Rachel Gavin's house where she hosted a Holiday Dinner. Students had so much fun! Thank you for everyone who was involved in this!
Reminder: students and staff will be dismissed at 2:30 pm today!
WMS had its first parent archery competition and Mr. Polk and Mitchell Polk (his son) both came away winners! They received two Walmart gift cards and some root beer and candy. Thanks to all the parents who were able to make it and to those who students could make it as well! This is a great team and we look forward to our upcoming season.

Washington Middle School's VEX Robotics team, the Eldo shARks, participated in the the Reddie for Robotics Tournament at Henderson State University on Saturday. Out of the 17 teams competing, the Eldo shARKS were ranked first for robot skills and brought home the Robot Skills Champion Award Trophy! Robot skills consists of a combined score for remote controlled operation of the team's robot and autonomous control (coding the robot to score goals on its own).
In addition to winning the award, the team was invited to compete at the Arkansas VEX Robotics State Championship in March!
