2nd Graders created structures that could remain standing during an earthquake. Teams worked together and then tested their structure. After observing the performance of their structure, students made changes to create a more sturdy building. They realized that the top of their building swayed more than the bottom. The creativity in the lab and the teamwork environment brought success to many teams.
