We encourage all Kindergarten–4th grade students to come to school TOMORROW on time and ready for their picture! These photos are used for our yearbook and to update Smart Tags, so we’d love to have everyone included.
🖼️ If you’d like to order prints, a link will be sent home with your student after picture day.
Let’s see those bright smiles, Yocum! 😄✨

Our young scientists are learning the importance of safety first while exploring hands-on experiments and investigations. These lessons are helping our students think like real scientists—observing, questioning, and discovering safely! 👩🔬👨🔬
We’re so grateful for community partners like Clean Harbors who help us make science fun and safe! 💙

📬 Our monthly newsletter is here! 🎉 It’s packed with important updates, upcoming events, and helpful information for our families. Don’t miss out—take a few minutes to check it out so you’re in the know and ready for all the great things happening at school! 💜

Your partnership makes a big difference in your child’s learning journey. We can’t wait to see you there! 💜👩🏫👨👩👧👦

We can’t wait to welcome all of our elementary Yocum families for a fun day of food and laughter. Our students absolutely love having their families be a part of their school day—it makes every moment even more special!

Every day from 2:45–3:15, our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade students participate in BEAR Time
This is a critical part of the school day when:
✨ Students receive targeted intervention to strengthen missing skills.
✨ Students who have mastered grade-level standards engage in extension activities to keep them challenged and growing.
👉 Because BEAR Time is so important, we kindly ask families to avoid early checkouts during this time so students don’t miss out on valuable learning opportunities.
Thank you for helping us make every minute count for our students’ success! 💙🐾

From 8:00 to 8:15 each morning, students are engaged in targeted math instruction, working hard to master key skills they’ll need for the next level of math.
⏰ Please make sure your student arrives on time so they don’t miss this important learning opportunity! Every minute counts! 💪✏️

🌟 They learned about the importance of mindset, mastery and momentum. Be sure to ask them about those words and what they mean for our school!
The word of the month is “empathy” and we have challenged our students to show empathy during school and after! 🤝
