Students at Hugh Goodwin Elementary had a blast celebrating Farm to School Month at the Gator Garden Pumpkin Patch. Mrs. Lester and Mrs. Lockwood’s class learned all about the lifecycle of a pumpkin today!

ESD : Today is World Mental Health Day! The purpose of this national day of recognition is to raise awareness for mental health issues around the world and to emphasize efforts that support mental health.

This morning at Hugh Goodwin Elementary School, faculty and administration gathered at the Gator Garden to dedicate an area of the garden to Amy Tucker, a long time educator for ESD and HG. Tucker's family and colleagues attended the dedication ceremony to honor her legacy and impact.

ESD : Upcoming Early Dismissals
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held October 3 & 5. All schools will dismiss at 2 pm. PTC will be from 3:30-6:30 pm on each of these days.
School will dismiss at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20 for the Homecoming Parade.
ESD: Bus route 14 will not run in the morning and afternoon on Monday, October 2.
ESD : There will be a Promise Parent Meeting during the second day of Parent/Teacher conferences on Thursday, October 5th at 5:15pm in the EHS Commons!
