The ESD Singers returned to the Downtown Holiday Lighting Ceremony last night and had a blast belting out a few holiday tunes! What a great way to kick off the holiday season!

It’s officially Thanksgiving break!
All ESD schools and buildings will be closed next week for Thanksgiving break. Over the next week, the El Dorado School District social media pages, including all school pages, are also taking a break. You may see some posts here and there that have been scheduled, but the pages/inboxes will not be monitored for questions. We encourage our students and staff to “unplug” and use this time to celebrate all they are grateful for!
Phone calls, emails, and social media messages will be returned on Monday, November 27th.

Hugh Goodwin is hosting two events tonight! The Book Fair will take place in the library from 4:00-5:15 pm, followed by Family Literacy Night from 5:30-6:30 pm in the cafeteria! 📖🌟
🏀 Our Lady Cats Basketball team will play at home tonight against Liberty-EYLAU in the Wildcat Arena. The Freshman Lady Cats will tip-off against Lakeside in Hot Springs at 6:30 pm, while our JV/Varsity Boys are set to play tonight at Conway High School. JV tip-off begins at 5 pm, followed by Varsity tip-off at 6 pm.

The Application to Request enrollment in the Wildcat Online Academy (WOA) for the first semester is now open. The deadline to enroll for the second semester is December 1, 2023. If you wish for your child to be considered for enrollment, please visit the WOA page here: https://www.eldoradopublicschools.org/page/woa-enrollment
Applications will be reviewed to determine if the student is eligible to participate in WOA. Parents will be notified no later than Friday, December 15, if their student’s application has been accepted.
WOA allows ESD students in 5th - 12th grades to choose virtual instruction that is developed and presented through teachers from Flex Point Global. The curriculum of the WOA will align with state standards to provide a rigorous and robust educational environment for students.
