The first day of school is off to a great start! Promise Director Sylvia Thompson along with Allison Parker of Murphy Oil visited each Kindergarten class to tell each student they would be eligible to receive the El Dorado Promise when they graduate from EHS! Representatives from Simmons Bank provided backpacks for each student as well!
We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of one of our El Dorado High School students over the weekend. The El Dorado School District sends our deepest condolences to the family of Octavius Critton. Our sincere sympathies, thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. Counselors are available for any of our students and staff during this difficult time.

Thursday, July 26 is the last day the AR Test lab will be open at Hugh Goodwin. Bring your child between 11:30-1:00 to take AR Tests on the books they've been reading this summer and they'll have the chance to meet some of their favorite book characters! We'll draw for a $150 Walmart gift card after the testing lab closes.
