At tonight’s monthly school board meeting, the El Dorado School Board voted to continue the mask policy for students and staff.
The current policy requires masks, or other appropriate face coverings, for all persons present on school campuses or in school vehicles or buses, including staff, students, visitors, and others while they are inside buildings or on buses.
The Board made two changes to the policy:
--double-layered neck gaiters can be worn.
--teachers and students can take their masks off when positioned 6 feet away from others as directed by a teacher.

Gators Give Back
Gators,
We have an additional opportunity to give back! People in parts of Louisiana that have just experienced a hurricane need our HELP! Ms. Sixbey’s daughter, an ER nurse in New Orleans, will be bringing dirty clothes from her neighborhood to our town tomorrow. The clothes will be laundered at a local laundry mat on Saturday. If you would like to help with this, you can donate rolled quarters. We will also be sending water and cleaning supplies as well. Items needed are things such as trash bags, cleaning wipes, rubber gloves, and baby wipes. If you would like to donate, please have donations dropped off at the school by this Friday, September 3 so those items can be taken back to Louisiana on Sunday.
THANK YOU

All students must be up-to-date with their immunizations in order to start school. If your child is exempt from immunizations, a completed Immunization Exempt Form is required every year from the Arkansas Medical Director. The school nurse must have an up to date immunization record or exempt form for every student. Please take the time to read this and follow the proper steps to make sure your child is able to attend school this fall.
