Elementary Families: If you have not heard from your child's teacher regarding a time for you to come to orientation, we may not have an updated phone number on file for you. Please contact your child's school as soon as possible to set up a time for orientation on Monday.
There will be a mandatory meeting for parents of football players entering 7th-12th grade on Monday, August 10th at 7:00 pm via Google Meet. To attend the meeting, go to meet.google.com/cmu-ipjq-idv. If that meeting is full, use overflow meeting link: meet.google.com/yih-dkdc-ymu.
Wildcat Online Academy Orientation will be August 17-19. This orientation is required for any students enrolled in WOA for the fall semester. If your child is enrolled in WOA, please check your email for details. Orientations for on-site learning will take place August 13, 17 & 18. See below or contact your child's school for more details.
Our summer meal program will soon be coming to an end. Meals will be available next Monday, July 27 as usual. Wednesday, July 29 will be the last meal service for the summer. We look forward to serving your children again this school year!
The 2020-21 School Calendar has been approved. In accordance with the Governor and the ADE, school will begin on August 24. Please make note of the new Orientation dates/procedures and other date changes.
As part of a federal pandemic relief program, the state of Arkansas is providing all students in grades K-8 and those who receive free and reduced meals in grades 9-12 of El Dorado School District with a P-EBT debit card loaded with $319 per child. School supplies will be provided free to students in grades K-4 again this school year. The supplies will be given to teachers to distribute to students as they are needed in the classroom.
El Dorado High School students: There will be a meeting for anyone interested in playing on the tennis team on Wednesday, July 15 at 10:00 AM at the El Dorado Racquet Club.

The Department of Education and Governor Hutchison announced today that public schools should push back our start dates for the 2020-21 school year. They now require school to start between August 24 and August 26. The El Dorado School District is working now to plan the best options for our students and staff and will release more information on our start date soon.

Report Cards for students in grades 3-12 were mailed out today. Due to COVID-19, K-2 students will not receive a final Standards Based Report Card this year. Thank you, students and parents, for all of your hard work finishing out the school year during this quarantine!
The Summer Meal Program begins today, providing meals to any child 18 and under in our area. Meals are available on Mondays (breakfast and lunch for 2 days) & Wednesdays (breakfast and lunch for 3 days). Pick up meals at Northwest or Washington between 11:00-12:30. Meals are also being delivered on Mondays & Wednesdays to three locations: Haygood Neal, St. John Baptist Church and Wildwood Apartments.
