School Closure Extended by Governor

Parents and Students,

As most of you have probably heard, the Governor has canceled school until April 17.

During this last week, we have seen our students at work on the AMI packets, our teachers have been doing an amazing job providing resources and our cafeteria and school staff have been working diligently to prepare and deliver meals all around our community.

I have been meeting with principals this afternoon and we will meet again tomorrow morning to develop a plan to get us through the next three weeks of school. This is something we can definitely overcome if we all continue being positive and working together.

Our great teachers, staff and administration will provide the best learning opportunities we can to our students during this difficult time. I appreciate the positive attitude our teachers, staff, parents and community have had during this week and look forward to seeing that continue in the weeks to come.

Everyone please be safe and keep all those affected by this virus in your prayers, along with our healthcare workers. I hope you each have a restful Spring Break.

We will provide updates as decisions are made and more information becomes available.

Sincerely,

Jim Tucker, Superintendent
