El Dorado High School’s Graduation Ceremony will be held on Monday, May 19th, at Memorial Stadium and will begin at 8 PM. The two main gates (located on the home side) will open at 6:15 PM. Please note that the stadium gate on Arkansas Street will close at 4 PM, so guests should plan to access the stadium via Northwest Avenue or 5th Street. Entry lines will be marked with traffic cones and sawhorses.
Live Stream
For those unable to attend the ceremony in person, graduation will be livestreamed courtesy of South Arkansas Now. The livestream will be available through their official Facebook page, allowing friends and family members to celebrate this special milestone alongside our graduates.
Parking Information
Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. There are 8 designated handicap spots located directly in front of Memorial Stadium, with an additional 50 parking spaces just north of those spots. The remaining 220 parking spaces, including those on the visitor side, are available to all guests. Additional parking can be found at the Municipal Auditorium and Hugh Goodwin Elementary School. Officers from the El Dorado Police Department and the Union County Sheriff’s Department will be on-site to assist with both parking and security.
Stadium Entry & Seating
The visitor side of the stadium will open at 7 PM. Once the home side reaches capacity, all guests will be directed to the visitor side. Please note that if you leave the stadium during the event, you will be required to go through the entrance line again and be re-scanned. If the stadium reaches full capacity while you are outside, re-entry will not be allowed.
Graduate Entry
Graduates will walk from the Municipal Auditorium and be checked in directly onto the field. All other guests must enter through one of the main gates. Both entrances are handicap accessible, and handicapped seating is available at the north end of the stadium.
Clear Bag Policy
The Clear Bag Policy will be in effect. Only approved clear bags and small clutch-style bags will be allowed inside the stadium. Bags that do not meet these guidelines must be returned to your vehicle. A handout is available below with images and a list of allowed and prohibited items. Media and medical personnel must present proper credentials upon entry.
Prohibited Items & General Reminders
Please remember that all school district facilities, including Memorial Stadium, are smoke-free and tobacco-free. Drugs, alcohol, and weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited. Balloons and noisemakers, such as airhorns and cowbells, are also not allowed. All guests will pass through open gate weapon detectors. Prohibited items may delay the entry process. School personnel will be present to assist patrons throughout the evening.
Thank you for your cooperation as we work together to ensure a safe, respectful, and memorable graduation celebration for the Class of 2025!
