board recognition

Congratulations to the El Dorado School District April Honorees from Washington Middle School and Murmil Education Center.

Student of the Month is Isabella Hays. Isabella is the daughter of Charles and Jessica Hays and a fifth-grader at Washington.

Mrs. Odom, Isabella's literacy teacher said: Isabella is one of the most caring and loving students I have ever taught. She works hard on her school work, pays attention, and participates. She is genuinely a good human being!

Her principal, Bethanie Hale, said: Isabella is one of the sweetest students I have ever met. For Valentine's Day, she spent her own money to send candy grams to our cafeteria ladies. Isabella has the second most house points in the entire school. Her love and kindness shine through daily and everyone sees it. Isabella is a true joy, and I am thankful to have her at WMS.
