We are excited to announce the Opengate Detection System will be delivered this week. After the staff receives training on the proper use of the equipment, the system will be in place at El Dorado High School beginning Monday, November 7th. The building will remain open at 7am each day, and students are encouraged to arrive early.
Upon entering the building each day, all students must complete the following screening process:
PROCEDURE FOR ENTRY:
Enter through the designated door.
Remove the backpack from back and place in front of your person.
Remove Chromebook from the backpack.
Place Chromebook on the table.
Keep the backpack on your person.
Slide Chromebook on table to other side of Opengate Detection System.
Walk through Opengate Detection System.
Pick up the Chromebook from the table.
Place Chromebook in backpack.
Continue to class.
IF THE SYSTEM SIGNALS AS A STUDENT ENTERS:
Pick up Chromebook.
Step to the side.
Additional search measures will be taken.
