The El Dorado School District remains committed to providing all students with access to nutritious meals that support health, learning, and overall well-being. As the 2025–2026 school year approaches, ESD is sharing important updates regarding meal pricing and eligibility.
Breakfast will continue to be provided at no cost to all students across the district.
Lunch will remain free for students who qualify for Free or Reduced Meals.
Families must complete a new meal application for the 2025–2026 school year to determine eligibility. The application will be available starting July 1, 2025, and a link will be posted on the district website. and social media.
If a meal application for a student is not on file for the current school year, the student will be automatically classified as a “paid” meal recipient and will be charged $3.00 per lunch.
To help families determine eligibility, an income eligibility chart is available on the ESD website. The chart can be found here.
“At El Dorado School District, we strive to provide the best meals to every one of our students,” said Child Nutrition Director Kim Newman. “While the cost of paid student meals has increased to $3 this year, we remain committed to offering high-quality, nutritious meals every day. We are so grateful for the opportunity to serve our students and support their health and learning.”
To make the payment process more efficient, families are encouraged to preload meal funds online at www.MyPaymentsPlus.com. Cash may also be sent to school and added to a student’s account by cafeteria staff.
For questions or assistance regarding meal pricing or payment options, families may contact the ESD Food Services Office at 870-864-5134.
