Taking a glimpse into El Dorado School District's Work Based Learning
Programs! Our work based learning programs are offered to our 9th
through 12th grade students. There are currently 58 transition
students enrolled this year!
These programs effectively assist students, educators, parents, agency personnel and community members in preparing students to transition from school to adult life and reach positive post-school outcomes. #EveryStudentDeserves #WeAreESD
ESD Reminder: Today is the last day to register a float in the Homecoming Parade! Registration should be submitted by Noon. The fee is $20, and participants are expected to follow all parade rules and regulations.

Students at Hugh Goodwin Elementary had a blast celebrating Farm to School Month at the Gator Garden Pumpkin Patch. Mrs. Lester and Mrs. Lockwood’s class learned all about the lifecycle of a pumpkin today!

On Wednesday, Washington Middle School was recognized as the first school in our Co-Op to be a Model PLC school for Solution Tree.
Solution Tree presented WMS Principal, Bethanie Hale, with a certificate and a flag to display proudly on campus. "I'm just so proud of my staff. They worked tirelessly to ensure our nearly 600 students are getting what they need, and I think this recognition just proves that their hard work paid off," said Hale.
On Thursday morning, WMS students helped hang the school's Model PLC Flag to showcase this achievement to the community.
The new flag can be seen flying at the front of WMS's campus.

ESD: Senior parents!! Don't forget to make plans to attend one of the upcoming Promise Parent Meetings. Meetings will take place at the EHS Commons on two nights, Tuesday, October 17th at 5:15 pm and Thursday, October 19th at 5:15 pm.

ESD : Today is World Mental Health Day! The purpose of this national day of recognition is to raise awareness for mental health issues around the world and to emphasize efforts that support mental health.
ESD REMINDER : Bus route 13 will not run in the morning or afternoon on Tuesday, October 10th.

ESD : Tonight's Promise Parent Meeting has been cancelled due to sickness. It's rescheduled for two nights, Tuesday, October 17 and Thursday, October 19 at 5:15 pm.
ESD REMINDER : School will be out on Friday, October 6th for Staff Development. Students return to classes after Fall Break on Tuesday, October 10th.
This morning at Hugh Goodwin Elementary School, faculty and administration gathered at the Gator Garden to dedicate an area of the garden to Amy Tucker, a long time educator for ESD and HG. Tucker's family and colleagues attended the dedication ceremony to honor her legacy and impact.

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held October 3 & 5. All schools will dismiss at 2 pm. PTC will be from 3:30-6:30 pm on each of these days.
School will dismiss at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20 for the Homecoming Parade.
