There will be no school Monday, January 20 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Congratulations to the winners of the Union County Spelling Bee! El Dorado's own Johntay McAlphin from Barton Junior High was the winner and Opal Farris from Strong-Huttig was the 2nd place finisher.

Thank you to Representative Sonia Barker for coming to recognize our School Board during last night’s meeting. January is School Board Recognition month and we appreciate all that our board does for our schools!

Important Bus Information: Route 31 - serving Hugh Goodwin, Northwest and Yocum elementary will be running 10-15 minutes later than usual starting today. This will be their new regular schedule.

UPDATE: All tonight’s basketball games in Lakeside have been cancelled due to forecasted inclement weather. Games will be rescheduled at a later time.

WILDCAT BASKETBALL UPDATE: All Junior Varsity games at Lakeside have been cancelled for tonight. Varsity Girls will play at 5:00 pm. Boys games will follow. We will continue to monitor the weather to ensure the safety of all of our students.
