The EHS Marching Band is a performance-based marching and concert band involving instrumental, wind, and percussion instruments. Open to grades 9-12, students must have been a member of the Barton Junior High School band or the equivalent in another district. Interested students seeking membership should contact a director; tryouts are only held for students transferring from another district. Performance schedules and extra rehearsals are at director's discretion.

EHS Jazz Band is a performance based jazz ensemble with membership by audition only. Performance schedules and extra rehearsals are at director's discretion.

An auxiliary unit of the EHS band, the Band Colorguard selection process is open to all band members in good standing who are finishing grades 9-11. In order to try out, students must meet academic eligibility at the time of audition, score minimum at all-region auditions, score at least "2" at solo/ensemble contest, and attend all pre-audition rehearsals. Auditions are held at the end of pre-audition rehearsals. Decisions of the judges are final. Students are responsible for the costs of uniforms, practice equipment, and summer camp. The Colorguard practices with EHS Marching Band.
