Isaac Stell, El Dorado High School senior, receives the National Burlsworth Character Award. Coaches from around the nation submit nominations for student athletes they believe embody character and sportsmanship who represent the ideal and values that Brandon Burlsworth lived by.

Head Coach, Chris Hill, said, "Isaac was a great leader for our team. His work ethic stood out above and beyond. He was also our spiritual leader. He would be in the locker room reading and praying on a weekly basis. He is the kind of young man you hope your daughter marries." Coach Hill couldn't be more proud for Isaac.

Principal, John Jameson, said, "This award couldn't have gone to a better student athlete. Isaac is everything that the Burlsworth Character Award stands for and I am proud for him."

Isaac graduates with a 4.30 GPA and will attend Louisiana Tech University in the fall majoring in Engineering. Congratulations, Isaac! We are all so proud of you!
