El Dorado High School seniors took an important step toward their futures today as 27 colleges and technical centers from across Arkansas and the surrounding area visited EHS for the annual Senior College Fair.
Representatives from colleges, universities, and technical centers spent the morning visiting with seniors, answering questions, sharing information about programs and campuses, and helping students explore the many opportunities available to them after graduation.
With graduation and the next chapter of their lives approaching, the college fair provided EHS seniors with an opportunity to connect directly with representatives and begin thinking about where their education, career, and personal goals may take them.
The El Dorado School District is especially proud to celebrate 20 years of promising futures through the El Dorado Promise. For two decades, the Promise has helped create opportunities for El Dorado High School graduates and has strengthened the community's commitment to ensuring students have pathways to success beyond high school.
Hosting college and career fairs is just one of the many ways El Dorado High School provides students with avenues and opportunities to prepare for their futures. By connecting students with colleges, technical centers, career programs, and other resources, EHS helps students discover possibilities and make informed decisions about their next chapter, whether they choose to enroll, be employed, or enlist.
We would like to extend a sincere thank you to all 27 college and technical center representatives who took the time to visit with our seniors today. Your willingness to invest in our students and share your knowledge and opportunities is an important part of helping our Wildcats build successful futures.
