Here are your Red Ribbon Week Facts about Marijuana. Did you know that teen marijuana use has dropped dramatically since the early 2000s. So, if you were thinking that everyone smokes marijuana, they don’t. Still, this rate is up from a few years ago, perhaps because fewer teens consider marijuana to be a harmful drug. Some believe marijuana cannot be harmful because it is “natural.” But, not all natural plants are good for you—take tobacco and poison ivy, for example. One serious risk is addiction – marijuana is not as harmless as you may think. Our goal is to give you the straight facts so you can make smart choices. This message brought to you by eXtreme Youth Programs which is having its first meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 3rd at 4pm in the Commons. Today’s winning Red Ribbon numbers are: 14, 114, 214, 314, 414, 514, 614, 714, 814, 914, 1014, 1114, 1214 and 1314. If you are one of the lucky winning numbers, come to the eXtreme table during lunch and claim your prize!
