THEA FOUNDATION TO HOLD INFO ZOOM MEETINGS

In January and February of 2021 Thea will be awarding 36 college scholarships in these six art forms: Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Creative Writing, Spoken Word (Slam Poetry), Fashion Design and Film to Arkansas high seniors.

The Thea Foundation was founded in the honor of our late daughter, Thea Kay Leopoulos. Before Thea died we learned from Thea how her participation in the arts in school enriched her confidence and enabled her to transform her educational experience across the board from her grades to her socialization and most important her desire to learn.

We have awarded scholarships since 2002 for a grand total of $2.4M to 436 students. Our competitions are totally inclusive with no scholarship or grade point requirements and students don't have to major in the artform of their scholarship. In fact, most of our winners go on to major in every field of study imaginable. (teaching, medicine, architecture, the arts, political science, and many more)

Another unique aspect of Thea Scholarships are our Education Partners. All universities in Arkansas and some outside of the state offer Thea winners additional scholarship awards for being a Thea winner.

All of our competitions are online this year due to the virus which makes it extremely easy for students to participate. We are offering Thea Scholarship Zoom Q&A sessions for: counselors, teachers, students and parents. We will cover everything about the process of signing up and how each competition works. The sessions last only 30 minutes and are offered on weeknights at 6 pm and Saturdays at 3 pm. To sign-Up for a Q&A session: Click Here
