Varsity Girls basketball Tryouts for current 9-11th grade girls will be after school on Wednesday, April 7th. Must have an updated physical, gym shoes, and your own water bottle. Please sign up with Coach Kell in the arena office.

This will be the last week to buy tickets for the senior banquet.  Tickets are $5 per person and at the time of purchase, you will select your dinner entree.  Dress attire will be semi-formal to formal.  If you are planning to take a date who is not a senior at EHS, you will need to fill out the guest form which was emailed to you.  Guest forms can also be picked up at Mrs. Thigpen's desk in the main office.  If you have questions, please see Mrs. Newton. 

New scholarship applications are available in the guidance office or on the Senior Information Page on the EHS Website. 

  • The Aerojet Rocketdyne Foundation Scholarship is for seniors planning to pursue a college degree in a STEM field.  The application deadline is April 16. 
  • The William M Atkinson Jr Memorial Scholarship is for a senior planning to attend SAU and major in agriculture. The application deadline is June 1. 
  • The Self Culture Club Scholarship application deadline is April 10. 

Juniors that missed taking the ACT in March have an opportunity to take the ACT make-up on April 13th.  For more information contact Ms. Watson.

If you would like to be part of the 2021 - 2022 Student Council applications to be out on the ballot have been sent to your school email. Please have these filled out by Friday, April 16th. Elections will be held on Wednesday, April 22nd. 

Teachers, please check your email. If you have a student that uses their own device add them to the google sheet. 

Congratulations to the 9th-grade girls track team for winning the meet in Camden last night! 

Congrats to the 9th-grade boys track team for placing second overall at the meet last night! Coach Curtis and Coach G are very proud of these athletes! 

Congratulation to the Lady Cats Soccer Team on their 7-0 victory over Lake Hamilton last night job well done, ladies! Keep up the good work!
