EHS is excited to announce we are now able to offer Spanish I this fall!
If you are entering the 9th, 10th, or 11th grades in August, you are eligible to enroll in Spanish I. This elective was not available during Kittens Conferences and is open to all incoming 9th graders.
If you are interested in taking Spanish I, please email your high school counselor by Monday, August 1st. In your email, please include which elective you would like to replace with Spanish I. That elective will become your first alternative choice. If Spanish I will not fit into your schedule, one of your alternate electives will be chosen.
Although Spanish is not required to graduate in Arkansas, some out-of-state colleges do require 2 years of a foreign language for admission. Additionally, two years of the same foreign language is required to be recognized as a Wearer of the Gold at EHS.
We look forward to seeing you in August. All 9th graders and new students may pick up their schedules at 9th Grade/New Student Orientation on August 11th. Returning students may access their schedules online.
