The EHS Chamber Orchestra had the opportunity to discuss composing with an Arkansas composer, Drew Morris, via Google Meet. They learned about his evolution as a musician; they asked questions about his composing process; they were even able to give him some fantastic musical ideas to use in the commissioned work that he will compose for our combined orchestras this school year. This experience was made possible through the EDEF grant awarded to the orchestra this past fall.

We have been made aware that there are still issues with our notification system. Our provider of this service, Thrillshare, acknowledged the problem regarding late calls last night and resolved it early this morning.
We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this has caused. If these problems persist, we will deactivate the calls until we can be assured that they will work properly. Thank you and GO Cats!
Kaila Emery with The Call in Union County came and spoke to our EHS Thespians about those impacted by foster care. Our students were able to gain great insight on many things and thanks to her, we will be able to better contribute to the meaningful purpose of our upcoming show, Bus Stop.
Bus Stop will be showing November 9th at 6:30 in the EHS Auditorium. Admission will be donation only and all funds will be donated to The Call. The show will then take the One Act to Competition in Searcy.
Thank you, Kaila!
