Please turn in your Library books asap. You will not be charged any fines, but if you have lost the book or the book is damaged to the point I cannot circulate it, you will have to pay for the replacement of the book. Hey, Seniors!
PLEASE complete the form you received yesterday with the scholarships you have received for next year. We know there is uncertainty surrounding graduation, but what we do know is that you deserve to be celebrated...so help us share your achievements!
The deadline to submit the form and all additional documents is Friday, May 8th!

Although the 2019-2020 year is not ending in a traditional way, we still need to plan for next year!
Each student received an email with the course catalog and registration form. An UPDATED registration form was sent yesterday. Please use that form!
Students should be in contact with their HOMEROOM teacher this week to plan their schedule for next year. If you have questions your Homeroom teacher cannot help you with, contact your school counselor.

--Return library books/school items between 7-9am in the school lobby (please be patient, as only 10 at a time can be in the lobby)
Mrs. Newton sent an email to the Class of 2020 on Wednesday concerning Jostens graduation item pick up, returning library books and other school items, and paying fines. If you have not read this email, PLEASE read this email as soon as possible.
Seniors, please try to check your school email regularly! Your counselors, teachers, and administrators are doing their best to make sure you graduate. There are things to wrap up before you walk across the stage. Help us keep the line of communication open! Thank you!
AMI Week 4 is due today!
Here's a few reminders about AMI:
You can find your assignments three ways:
1. In your teachers' Google Classrooms.
2. In the designated file cabinets in front of the school.
3. On the EHS website.

Assignments are due the following Friday after they are assigned. These assignments are how students receive their grade for the 4th Nine Weeks, so it is vital that students are doing the work and turning it in.
How do you turn work in? There are many ways. Here are a few:
1. Submit assignments through each teacher's Google Classroom.
2. Take pictures of your paper copies and email them to your teacher or upload them to Google Classroom.
3. Take pictures of your assignments and upload them/email them to your teacher using the school WiFi when you come to school to get your next assignment packet.
Having trouble with an assignment? Need to talk with a teacher, counselor, or administrator? Reach out to them! They are more than willing to work with you! In fact, they are excited and thrilled to help you!!
Additional questions? Check with your school counselor or your homeroom teacher! We may not be in the school building, but we are still here for you!
Seniors can turn in books/school items on Monday, April 27th from 7-9am in EHS Lobby. Please be patient--we can only allow 10 in the lobby at a time.
Seniors need to pick up Jostens graduation items by 9am. Jostens will pick up remaining items and ship to students once they are paid in full.

If you are interested in being a grade level representative for Student Council next year, please fill out the application to be on the ballot that has been sent to your school email account. Applications will be taken until Wednesday, April 29th. We will have an election on the following Thursday, April 30th.

EHS Seniors- IMPORTANT ANNOUCEMENT CONCERNING SAU Magnolia
Southern Arkansas University will waive the ACT or SAT composite score requirements as well as the need to re-test for beginning freshman admission for both summer and fall 2020.
The waiver will be approved provided the student meets other admission requirements and has a minimum cumulative 2.30 GPA on non-remedial courses on their 7th or 8th semester high school transcript. Students with a high school GPA between 2.0-2.29 and special circumstances may submit an appeal to be considered for approval with the Office of Admissions.
Freshmen are required to have placement scores. SAU will use other assessment instruments or scores for course placement as needed during registration.
