BASEBALL TRYOUT UPDATE
Baseball tryouts for 10th-12th grade will be Monday, December 2 from 5:45-7 at BARTON JR. HIGH DOME. You will need glove, hat, and cleats if you have them. See Coach Dow in the math wing for more information.

The EHS Lady Cats Soccer Team tryouts have been moved to Tuesday, January 7-Friday, January 10, 2020 at the stadium beginning at 4:30pm.

-Cleats
-Shin Guards
-Socks
-Water
-Any medication needed (ie: inhalers)

The University of Arkansas at Monticello Director of Bands, Gary Meggs, and Chairman of Fine Arts Dept, Justin Anders, visited with the EHS Band about college scholarships available to them this morning.

Today, Sharyssa Davis and Kayley Osgood competed at the FCCLA District 5 STAR Events, both for the first time. They both advanced to compete at State in the spring! Sharyssa competed in Job Interview; Kayley participated in Career Investigation. Congrats, ladies!!

Congrats to the Boys' Basketball Team for defeating both their opponents in the Pleasant Grove Jamboree last night. In the first half they played, the Wildcats defeated Pleasant Grove Texas 38-29. Brendan Simmons had 18 points, and Jamalzia Thompson had 9 points. In the second half they played, the Cats defeated Bullard, Texas 47-13. Brendan Simmons had 16 points, David Ayree 9 and Jamalzia Thompson 8 points. Great job, Cats!

Congrats to the Cross Country team on a great performance at the state meet this past weekend! The boys finished 14th out of 26 as a team, and the girls were 15th out of 26. The boys were lead by Jadon Cunningham, who finished 28th out of over 200 and just missed out on earning All-State honors. The girls were lead by Melanie Miller.
